How to Join
The Fremont, Union City, Newark Mother’s Club (FUNMC) now has 2 types of membership, allowing you to select the membership best suited to you and your family. Dues are pro-rated quarterly and based on the amount of time left in our fiscal year (Nov 1st through Oct 31st). Click HERE to see the benefits of membership!
Online Membership: $39 – Receives monthly newsletter online in full color with hyperlinks to advertisers and club event rsvp-ing. Choosing this GREEN option helps keep club printing and postage costs low so our club is able to spend more on club events and activities for your enjoyment.
Online Membership plus opt out of volunteering: $49: The FUNMC is a not for profit, all volunteer run organization and as such, has a member volunteer requirement. If any member is unable to meet this requirement, the member may “opt out” of this requirement by paying an additional $10 fee in addition to the yearly dues at the time of sign up.
We greatly encourage you to involve yourself in any way possible. We have found that volunteering in any way, big or small leads to a better FUNMC experience and a greater appreciation of the club and all it has to offer you and your family!
Examples of volunteer tasks could include, but not limited to, the following:
- Be on the board of directors an ongoing position
- Host coffee social
- Host kids outing
- Host Mom’s Night Out
- Promote our club through library and community events
- Charity during holdiay for sponsored groups
- In A Pinch making meals
